Persuasive writing is something that I do very well. I take pride in being someone who, generally, uses all of their resources to develop informed opinions on societies pressing issues. Policing in the United States was something I was previously relatively uneducated on. This paper is an example of my skill to quickly develop an informed opinion and to share it in a persuasive way.

This writing was very eye opening for me. During a generally negative time progressing through the pandemic, it was helpful to look back at my best moments. It gave me hope that everything terrible happening can end and that we all have the potential to be at our "best self."

My ideas about how I, as a leader in the current social climate of the United States, would work to bring people together against inherent racial injustice, and a comparison to a leader who I draw on for motivation and for my own development.
